- Links Maria die het kind Jezus zoogt, met achter haar Jozef. Rechts komen vier herders aan, twee mannen en twee vrouwen. De compositie is een vrij exacte kopie naar Rubens' 'Aanbidding door de herders' van 1620, nu in de kathedraal van Soissons. Dit werk wordt in verband gebracht met drie andere kleine achthoekige werken naar Rubens (0000.GRO0060.I, 0000.GRO0063.I, 0000.GRO0064.I). Dergelijke kopieën en pastiches op klein formaat naar composities van onder meer Rubens, Van Dyck en Jordaens, waren een een lucratieve bezigheid voor heel wat Antwerpse schilders uit de tweede helft van de zeventiende eeuw, en in belangrijke mate bestemd voor export naar vooral Spanje en Latijns-Amerika.
