Description:
In zijn atelier bewaarde Ensor doodshoofden, maskers en hoofddeksels, die vanaf 1888 regelmatig in zijn werk voorkomen. Op deze ets bracht hij enkele schedels en een masker samen. Het is de enige prent waarin hij een dergelijk stilleven vastlegde.
