- Dujouries fluweelsculpturen zijn als gewaden zonder lichaam. Ze bestaan uit een stalen raamwerk waarover fluweel is gevouwen. De stof wordt gemodelleerd tot op het punt waarop een zacht briesje het beeld in beweging lijkt te brengen en lijkt op te laden met poëzie. Op dat moment werd de beweging gefixeerd, werd het fluweel versteven, werd een tijdsfragment gestold. Niet alleen in het aanlokkelijke, aaibare fluweel maar ook in de poëtische titels schuilen diepe verlangens. Melancholie en levenslust, zwaarte en lichtheid, hard- en zachtheid, dynamiek en verstilling concurreren met elkaar. Geschreven taal versterkt de beeldtaal en omgekeerd.
