Description:

In de tempel van Jeruzalem brengen de Farizeeën een vrouw die betrapt is op overspel naar Christus. Hij moet oordelen over haar. Christus schrijft met zijn vinger in de grond en zegt: "Wie zonder zonde is, werpe de eerste steen" (Johannes 8:2-11). De prent heeft een Latijns onderschrift; ze maakt deel uit van een reeks over het leven van Christus.
