Description:
De heilige Petrus, martelaar van Verona (ook bekend als Petrus de martelaar of Petrus van Milaan) wordt in een bos overvallen door een man met een zwaard. Petrus is op de grond gevallen en probeert zich te verweren. Rechts kijkt een andere dominicaan naar de lucht waar twee engelen met een palmtak zijn verschenen. De prent maakt deel uit van een 53-delige serie prenten naar schilderijen van Titiaan en Veronese.
