- In 'L'Histoire Belge' combineert Sven Augustijnen een aantal foto's met teksten. Door de combinatie van beiden tracht de kunstenaar achterliggende feiten uit de doeken te doen bij monumenten in de hoofdstad en in Oostende. Centraal staan figuren als Leopold II en Lumumba. Sven Augustijnen speelt met de conventies en verwachtingspatronen en laat zien dat ze arbitrair en subjectief zijn. Zijn foto's maar ook zijn films gaan over taal en hoe ze te gebruiken.
